I'm Nicole Martini, LICSW, ERPSCC, one of a select number of clinicians nationally certified by Cordico / Lexipol to provide trauma-informed care for first responders, veterans, and their families.
The Emergency Responder & Public Safety Certified Clinician (ERPSCC) credential is awarded by Cordico / Lexipol, the nation's leading provider of wellness resources for police, fire, EMS, dispatch, corrections, and public safety agencies.
Certification requires advanced training in police culture, operational stress, critical incident response, and evidence-based trauma care, so the clinician speaks the same language as the people they serve.
Over the past 20 years, I have worked alongside law enforcement officers. The impact of chronic exposure to trauma, especially secondary trauma, can shape every part of our lives: our bodies, our relationships, our thinking, and our sense of wellbeing.
I am a Cordico / Lexipol ERPSCC, a credential reserved for clinicians with specialized training in first responder and public safety culture. My work is grounded in both lived experience and advanced clinical training, allowing my approach to be practical, honest, and useful on and off the job.
I use evidence-based, trauma-informed practices to address mental injuries that include depression, anxiety, PTSD, vicarious trauma, and compassion fatigue that often come with serving on the front lines.

"At the core of my approach is the belief that every person deserves to be seen and met exactly where they are."
I use a direct, solution-focused style supported by humor and a touch of sarcasm to create a space that feels real, grounded, and manageable, even when the work is hard.
We'll focus on what you hope to achieve. I want to understand your goals, your priorities, and what you need. Your voice guides the direction; therapy is most effective when it's a true collaboration.
Our initial meeting is also a chance to make sure we're a good fit. Finding a provider you genuinely connect with is essential for meaningful progress.
"Nicole brings warmth, clarity, and deep expertise to her work. With experience at the Department of Children and Families, she understands the challenges families and first responders face and approaches each situation with compassion and practical insight."
"After years of pushing through on my own, working with Nicole was the first time I felt like someone actually understood the job and everything that comes with it. She doesn't sugarcoat anything, and that's exactly what I needed."
"Nicole's direct, no-nonsense approach was a breath of fresh air. She made me feel comfortable from the very first session. I finally feel like I have real tools to manage the stress instead of just carrying it."
